Lifestyle-The Wellness Shop

The core of our integrative wellness program is to create a healthy lifestyle by stabilizing all seven pillars of our lives to create a state of balanced abundance.

The seven pillars are:

  • Emotional
  • Mental
  • Physical
  • Financial
  • Family
  • Social
  • Spiritual

You will note that the first letter of each of the seven pillars phonetically forms the word Emphasis. The emphasis is on balance.

Please read the New York Times article below to find out how all supplements are not created equal.

There are two equally important aspects of the physical pillar ithat we must address to create balance. One is movement or physical activity. The other is our nutrition, including the food, fluids, and supplements we consume. Eating the right foods provides essential nutrients like antioxidants. Even if we eat enough fruit and vegetables in our diets, 9-13 fistful sized servings of high quality, preferably farm-fresh organic produce, it still may not be sufficient to meet our body’s needs.

We may still need to supplement to get enough nutrients, but we must be sure we have high quality supplements. I have gathered an assortment of high quality supplements that I have vetted for their efficacy. Most can be found in the Physician’s Desk Reference (PDR). Many are NSF certified, so Elite athletes may take them as well. All products that I recommend are products that I recommend to my own family. If you are not already under my care, please do not construe this as medical advise. Consult with your primary care provider.
