We’ve seen the commercials:
Pained looks… Grandma won’t play with her grandchildren… a man sits on the couch slumped over, while Rover sits waiting, with his Frisbee, for a fun walk that never comes… an unconsoled infant cries in its crib as disconcerted young parents, exhausted, stare blankly into space.
DEPRESSION… in any language, is as contagious as sneezing. And in most cases you can lick it WITHOUT DRUGS!
In the next few minutes, I am going to give it to you straight. I will show you how to kick depression to the curb… leave the clouds of fear and angst behind: how to get to “The Sunny Side of the Street” and how to stay there.
DEPRESSION… well we know how to recognize it but what is it? Depression is a state of feeling sad, hopeless or dejected. It manifests as a sad mood, decreased activity, appetite changes, sleep disturbances, difficulty thinking and concentrating, loss of interest in previously pleasurable activities, and sometimes-suicidal thoughts or suicide attempts.
